Ice Cream Snow

Erika and Mary have been friends since they were three.  They met in a class at the Y and have been friends ever since.  What makes their friendship so sweet is that they go to different schools and hardly get to see each other.  But when they get together, it's like no time had passed between them.  I love this picture with Mary- her ashes on her forehead from Ash Wednesday Mass that morning.  Too cute!
Old friends.  Cold snow.  Good times!  When you have this much snow, life gives you snow ice cream!  All it takes is a gallon of snow, sugar, vanilla, and milk.  So easy and so yummy!

The Sun

Haven't seen the sun for quite awhile.  She peeked out tonight, just for a moment, but we'll take it.

Snowed In

I can't believe how much snow we've gotten!  We've broken the record for February (over 21") and we still have a couple weeks left of the month!  And to think, Rob's in Florida and we are knee deep in snow!  At least it's pretty!

Time Flies

Where does the time go?!  I know my girls are getting bigger, but looking at them here makes me realize how fast they are growing up!  It seems as if every year is better than the last, with making new memories and smiling at old ones, like these.
MY GIRLS
Lying next to you and hearing you breat
lets me know all is good in the world for me.
Your footsteps running through the house so loud
like angels running to me down from the clouds.
I can't imagine my life without the three of you
So no matter how much the world spins me in twirls
I know all is ok as long as I have MY GIRLS.

Mexican, anyone?

I can't believe it has taken us three years to try this amazing Mexican restaurant called Alcapulcos here in town!  My neighbors literally teased me for not eating there yet, so in order to get me there, they all planned a night out and we all went together!  It was yummy!  A great atmosphere, and of course after a medium-sized (maybe more like the size of a fishbowl!) Margarita, the girls ended up with a body painting, instead of a face painting!  Can't wait for our next monthly trip to our new favorite place with our neighbors!

Daddy Time

A night without Rob is very lonely around the Glover household.  We were very lucky for Rob to be around during the holidays, and the girls got used to him being home.  Emily decided we needed a picture of Daddy to place at his seat so it feels like he's "almost" with us during dinner.  He sent us a picture and we printed it and put it at his chair.  Pretty cute when his picture was up, the girls wanted to share their day with him-- hope they always want and need Daddy around as much as they do now!

Superbowl Fun!

Who knew a Superbowl Party would involve a birthday, ping pong, and lots of fashion shows!  Good food, friends, and family is what it's all about!
