Erika is having a wonderful start at Berry Intermediate School! She is all smiles and I always look forward to picking her up so I can hear all about her day when it is fresh in her mind. Her teachers have high expectations and hold her accountable, which is great for her. She has reconnected with old friends from when she went to Lebanon a few years ago, but has also met a new friend, Ammarie. Erika talks so much about her, and Friday she found out she was moving back to Florida on Sunday for her Dad's job. Erika had a sad heart today, and finding the right words for times like this are always hard. She said, "At least we can keep email each other and she can read your blog to still see pictures of me!" A proud mommy moment. (: Too cute.
